    Battlement Mesa Activity Center
    The Activity Center has a 53,000 square foot facility with an Olympic sized pool, kiddie pool, playground, hot tub, indoor running track, racquet ball courts, two gymnasiums, fitness center, tennis courts, community rooms and complete catering kitchen.

    The park is an adventurous experience for kids and adults of all ages and is open year-round. Daily tram rides take you to the top of Iron Mountain with spectacular views of both the Roaring Fork and Grand valleys. At the top, a multitude of activities are available; guided cave tours, alpine caster, climbing wall, zipline, restaurant, and sluicing troughs for gold and gemstone panning.

    • The Glenwood Canyon Bike Path is an asphalt biking/walking path which extends along the Colorado River from Glenwood Springs to Eagle.
    • Numerous mountain bike trails are located on the Grand Mesa.
    • Numerous motorcycle dirt tracks and trails are located east of Grand Junction.

    Skiing and Snowmobiling

    Powderhorn Resort
    Nestled on the eastern edge of the Grand Mesa, 35 minutes west of Battlement Mesa with exceptional Grand Valley views and a family-friendly atmosphere. The base elevation is 8200 feet with a vertical drop of 1650 feet and a skiable acreage of 600 acres.

    Sunlight Ski Area
    Located 10 miles south of Glenwood Springs, 470 acres of skiable terrain with a vertical drop of 2, 010 feet. Downhill and cross country skiing, and snowmobile trails are also available.

    Grand Mesa
    World's largest mesa offers unlimited cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and showmobiling and groomed and ungroomed trails. Located 45 minutes west of Battlement Mesa.

    Flat Tops Wilderness
    90 miles groomed trail system for snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
